Basic HTML can help building website that not have so many stuff you seen in website in daily routine. For modern designed website, you should be needed to head over the css and table that are used for structuring the design with html. If you have your own domain, you just have to submit your sitemap to google but most sites are visible to google after 2 or 3 days from its creation. If its just a free hosted blog in blogspot, you have the power to set the site to be visible in search engine or not. It actually depends on the level of expertise you have in web designing and the kind of website you are looking out for. If you want features which are not there in paid templates and you are sure that you can design them on your own for yourself, better go ahead for self designed templates. If there is only one paragraph you want to give a border to, consider using a class. In the HTML: <p class="withborder"> Your content here </p> In the CSS: p.withborder { border: 3px solid green; } The 3px / solid / green  can be changed to suit your needs. I hope this is helpful! more

To create a link from the bottom of a page back to the top do this: Place this tag <a name="top"></a> right after the <body> tag in your page html code. Next, place this <a href="#top">top</a> at the bottom of you page. You can do the same to any place on your page with this code. more

Thanks for that stick, yes I agree it is a problem and the edit tool should allow us to edit pictures to anysize we want, it always did, this problem has only been ongoing for a few months. Maybe Mike will see this and change things on here for us :) more
